I actually am pretty sure I have bacterial vaginosis, but I got Nature’s Cure homeopathic yeast control pills because they have yeast in them, which I figured would help. but it got me wondering… how in the heck is it supposed to work for a yeast infection??? I’ve seen other brands of remedies labeled “homeopathic” with candida yeast as a main ingredient, as well, so it’s not just Nature’s Cure being weird.

How to use vaginal tablets for bacterial vaginosis?

I’m worried I might have a yeast infection, or bacterial vaginosis. There are tablets I found to cure it, but I am not sure how to use it. They are called CENASERT tablets. How do I use these tablets? Do I insert them, and leave it there?

Can someone please tell me how long it takes to cure a bacterial vaginosis with apple cider vinegar. I also wanted to know how does this happen. I clean down there with different types of soaps could that be a reason why it get irritated.

For more information about this issue please see tinyurl.com Dr Chris Steele discusses with Sian Welby the common but poorly understood condition of Bacterial Vaginosis (caused by an imbalance of “good” and “bad” bacteria in the vagina). A new treatment for this condition, Balance Activ, is also explained.

I have bacterial vaginosis, could this cause my boyfriend to get red itchy bumps on his gentials and penis after we have sex? Or could it be that he has bacterial vaginosis?
Is there a over the counter medicine my boyfriend can get it to cure it? Or once i am cured, will he not get it again?

I have been having a burning feeling inside the inner labia just under the clitoris. It sometimes looks a little red and sometimes it does not. I recently took Diflucan and that didn’t help. Now I am noticing a slightly thick, milky discharge. I’m starting to wonder if it could be bacterial vaginosis. Would BV cause burning in the clitoral area without causing burning in and around the vagina?

The alternative treatment for bacterial Vaginosis

Which is the better way to treatment bacterial Vaginosis between antibiotic, over counter expensive pill or home remedy?

First of all, we have to understand what type of bacterial in vagina. They have 2 types of bacterial in normal circumstances.

  • The “good” bacteria (Lactobacillus)
  • The “bad” bacteria (Gardnerella)

If something happens and makes bacterial in vagina imbalance. The good bacterial cannot work effectively and make the bad bacterial over growth. That will cause the symptom of bacterial Vaginosis which include.

  • Itching,
  • Burning,
  • Soreness,
  • A white/gray watery discharge and,
  • Fishy odor.

They have many reasons that might become imbalance of the bacterial in the vagina include.

  • Over-washing,
  • A change of sexual partner,
  • Douching,
  • Using perfumed products

And most of the woman cannot know exactly what the cause and use antibiotic to cure the problem.  Actually, Antibiotic will kill both of the good and bad bacterial in the vagina, once bacteria begins to naturally repopulate the vagina, the good bacteria will not be of sufficient strength to keep things under control.

This is why most of the women who use antibiotics will have a repeat attack of bacterial Vaginosis within a few weeks of finishing the course.

The over counter remedy can give symptomatic relief, but, they do nothing to treat the root causes and can be very expensive but not effective. Many simple alternative treatments can give similar relief at a fraction of the cost.

What about the natural treatment for bacterial Vaginosis?

The natural alternative treatment can be the other way that have the same result and much cheaper include.

  • Use the natural yogurt, but which one is better to eat it or insert it into the vagina via a tampon.
  • Garlic is also a good natural remedy for bacterial Vaginosis but should you eat it raw or take it in tablet form?
  • Cider vinegar can be helpful, but exactly how much is the right amount to put in a bath?

Natural treatments can help the immune system, giving the body the ability to fight and kill the bad bacteria in the vagina. A good alternative treatment for bacterial Vaginosis will work and much faster than antibiotics, and you will begin to feel relief right away.
